Liberty Journey 2009 was held June 15-19. Sixth through eighth grade students from all over the area arrived on Monday and left on Friday. It was our first week-long camp at Liberty Retreat & Conference Center. We had a great time! It was enough time for us to settle in and get comfortable with each other, while letting the noise and chaos of our daily lives subside for a few days. A favorite time was, after a fun and wild night game, each of us laying down on our back on the deck, looking up at the night sky. Praise comes easy when we are faced with the miracle of the stars twinkling in their places!
